Some of Brody's more notable works/accomplishments are his album covers he did in the 80's for bands such as Depeche Mode, being a founding member of FontWorks, and being partly responsible for starting the FUSE project.
I feel the bold red color in the poster helps to being a balance to the contrast between the black and white colors, while at the same time, helps deliver the message of the poster. For example, I don't think that blue or any other color would deliver the same message. I also feel that using stroke on the TV with no fill was a good choice. If fill had been used, it would have put too much focus and weight on the layout.
